Recently, a design consultant gave me the best compliment - after spending many hours assisting my client in selecting new interior finishes on her contracted new home build, she assumed I was my client’s daughter because of the care and interest I invested. Of course, delighted to hear this outside view, but even more thrilled to be such a help for my client, my client and I celebrated her interior choices over lunch.
I chose Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty because of the outstanding marketing and consistency of the brand. Every home and every client deserves a debut on the red carpet and headline of telling a story. I am passionate about presenting homes with energy and care and work within my client’s budget, restrictions and time frame to help them achieve their goals.
When my aging father needed to sell his home, it upset me to learn of the home’s lesser value, due to an outdated interior. I proposed an eight-week renovation plan after he moved out, and, as a team, we made it happen. I learned so much about the emotional side of the transition, as well as, working within a budget. Understanding what it takes to increase value and attract buyers while creating relationships with contractors, managing the logistics of two crews and transitioning him to his new home, gave me an invaluable advantage to assist my future clients.
Having primarily grown up in Roswell, Georgia as the middle child of five, I have always been a caretaker to my younger siblings and this continued with my aging parents. New construction was a recurring theme in my childhood, having moved from New York to Georgia to South Florida and then back to Georgia. Some of my fondest memories are of my mother’s ongoing hobby - looking at new developments and overseeing her own new construction. Little did I know, she was preparing me for the future! I later graduated from The University of Georgia and worked in advertising in Los Angeles before returning 'home' to Roswell in 2004.
With my background in sales, advertising and the printing industry, I felt the need to push forward into the next challenge and chapter of my life. I was inspired to get my real estate license and the SRES designation (Seniors Real Estate Specialists® designees are REALTORS® qualified to address the needs of home buyers and sellers 50 years old and older).
I stay busy hiking, golfing, go-kart racing, attending car shows and traveling. I personally enjoy gardening, visiting historic homes, interior design, architecture, art and giving back by serving the homeless. I am a wine enthusiast and can be seen a few times a year attending or pouring wine at events. I am a St. Peter Chanel parishioner in Roswell and a lector.
I am grateful that I can apply my experience to helping my clients build, sell or beat multiple offers on a re-sale. I’m here to design a custom plan for you to transition into or out of a home and look forward to working with you, your friends and family!
