Well-seasoned in many facets of the real estate industry, Ken Lutz combines an incredible capacity for detail and decades of market knowledge with a high level of care to help clients navigate the buying and selling process, identify opportunities that fit their lifestyle and make sound market selections with long-term benefits.
A graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a degree in accounting, Ken very quickly discovered that he was better suited to dealing with people than sitting behind a desk. After five years working as a public accountant, he obtained a petroleum land management position researching mineral rights and negotiating oil and gas leases, a role that allowed him to interact with people from a variety of backgrounds and introduced him to real estate. After relocating to Atlanta and earning both a real estate and appraiser license, Ken ran his own appraisal company, Lutz Appraisal, for 14 years, becoming more involved in the residential side of the industry.
A born entrepreneur and family man who enjoys the freedom that real estate provides, Ken enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with his daughter, Leah Martin (also an agent at Atlanta Fine Homes). Those who work with him know that he is not driven by the paycheck, and his goal is to see them succeed. A champion of the underdog, his aversion to seeing anyone being taken advantage of ensures that, regardless of price point, his client’s interests are protected at every step and everyone is treated fairly. Ken enjoys assisting buyers and sellers not only with selecting a place to call home but also with making sound real estate investment decisions, whether for rental or flipping purposes.
A Vinings resident whose family has lived in the Atlanta area for nearly 50 years, Ken enjoys the area for the distinct four seasons as well as the sports teams. He and his wife have three children who live in Atlanta, Austin, Texas and Italy, and when he’s not working with clients, he is likely following college football, playing golf, traveling or spending time with his family.
